Led by experienced guides, you’ll paddle 2 miles through lush tropical surroundings, passing ancient Hawaiian sites and verdant valleys teeming with life.
Upon reaching the trailhead, you’ll embark on a scenic, moderate, 1-mile hike through pristine rainforests, where towering trees and cascading waterfalls beckon you deeper into the wilderness. Along the way, your knowledgeable guides will share stories of Hawaiian legends and the rich cultural heritage of the Wailua Valley. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the calm waters and a simple turkey, ham, or veggie sandwich lunch. Water is also included. Restrictions:
- The minimum age for participation is 5.
- Guests should be in good physical condition to participate in this activity. Participants should be comfortable in the water, enjoy hiking, and not be afraid to get wet and muddy
- Expect 4 miles of paddling and 2 miles of hiking round trip.
- Trail conditions can be muddy and slippery at times.
- No bad backs, joints, or recent surgeries.
- Tour time is 4.5-5 hours, depending on the group’s pace.

Outstanding trip! Captain Jenn and crew Colleen and Amanda were fabulous hosts. We did see whales, but the unexpected highlight was our time with the Spinner dolphins. I will try to post video – so many of them – hanging out with us right beside the boat.
