This 65-foot catamaran is a vessel that boasts all the amenities – from spotless bar, kitchen, and restroom facilities to an ample air-conditioned interior lounge with bar and an aft deck featuring tables, lounges, and steps for easy snorkeling access. Sit back and relax as your skilled captain and crew tour you along the Napali Coast, the dramatic sea cliffs, spinner dolphins, waterfalls, and lava tubes while sharing stories of this ancient coastline.
After a tour of the majestic Napali Coast, it will be time for a relaxing downwind sail to anchor up at a secluded snorkeling area. You can explore or just relax while a delicious lunch is prepared in the onboard kitchen. Beer and wine will be offered after snorkeling. Then, all you have to do is relax and enjoy the ride back to the home port of Port Allen.

Restrictions: (It is not available for children under two years old. We allow pregnant women less than 26 weeks old on our catamaran tours; all guests must be able to walk onto the boat.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations of tours within 48 hours (before the activity date) will be charged at 100% of the activity cost.

THE perfect experience on our trip to Kauai. Seeing the Na Pali Coast line by catamaran was magical. The crew was incredible – Barron gave us history and stories and great tunes while captaining the ship, Sam cheffed the best burgers to refuel us after our snorkel stop and Tristan and Michelle were so hospitable and friendly, chatting with everyone, answering questions and checking in on everyone. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Kauai – thank you so much for them amazing experience , we will definitely be back and recommending to everyone we know. Weather was great, the ship was clean and comfortable with plenty of room. If I could give 100 stars to this experience I would!

What an awesome boat trip along the Na Pali coastline! Captain Barron, Tristan, Jace and Chef Marc were an awesome crew – so friendly and attentive. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous and we got to see two different kinds of dolphins and a pod of three female humpback whales. It was a highlight of our trip for sure. Highly recommend springing for the bigger boat – it was very comfortable and the grilled lunch was awesome. The only downside was the snorkeling stop was not super good – but the Na Pali coastline more than made up for it.

We booked the Star BBQ and Snorkeling, which is a 65 ft catamaran. They actually have 2 identical boats (Southern Star and Northern Star). We were on the Northern Star with Tony as captain. All the staff was very nice and took good care of us (even checking on food allergy concerns). The food was excellent for a boat ride. Seriously, I did not expect 5 star burgers served on real plates for a boat ride. Really, really good food!
They did a great job of finding dolphin pockets (no whales there this time of year). I have gotten sea sick in the past, but I did not get sick at all on this boat (seas were calm that day, though). They did a nice job of giving narration, but not constantly being annoying about it.
Excellent Day on the Northern Star
Bigger boats like this are usually unable to get into the little caves, but they did back it up into one cave to where the waterfall was almost onto the boat.
They had a lifeguard out on a board during the snorkeling and my husband and son had a fantastic time snorkeling for the whole hour. The snorkel gear seemed really nice, better than other boats we’d been on.
Overall, we give it 5 stars because we didn’t have a single complaint. It’s more expensive, but that was totally worth it.
