What a great adventure for the family. Chris our guide took our group on a most memorable experience all the while taking care to make sure we were safe, comfortable and happy. The kayaking was fun for beginners with to die for views. The hike to the falls was amazing and wading at the foot of the falls is one of those truly great experiences. Our party of 5 rated this as one of our top experiences here in Kauai.

This tour was fantastic!! Andrew was the best! His excitement and knowledge of the plants, land, and culture made this informative as well as VERY exciting!! He kept up laughing and was interactive with the whole group. What a blast!!! Would DEFINITELY do this again! And ask for Andrew as our guide!

There were 6 of us on this tour. Only 2 had ever paddled a kayak before so we were beginners. Our guide – Kyle – was over the top good. Very knowledgeable – fun – and showed us a great time. Cant thank him enough. Request Kyle if you get time to do this tour. It is more than we ever thought it would be. Absolutely beautiful. The team at the Kayak Rentals were helpful and very friendly. AWESOME.

6 of us went on this tour. I really do not think it could have been any better. Our Guide – Kyle – was absolutely the best. Friendly, knowledgeable, fun, interactive and awesome photographer. 4 of us had never been in a kayak before and we had a blast. I would recommend this trip to anyone. Very accommodating outfit. Justin was an awesome guide. We were the slow people on the trip. He always waited for us before giving his guided tour. We learn a lot of neat trivia about culture, flora, and fauna. The kayaking was a work out especially down stream with wind and in coming tide. If you canoe, coordinating the rudder and padding takes a lot of work. We opted to put up the rudder on the way back. The hike was not bad but very muddy and slippery. Mosquitoes were only a problem on one section of the trail. The waterfall was gorgeous. The sandwich meal was good with fresh pineapple to snack on. My wife had the veggitarian option. It was a good trip and Justin made it very enjoyable.

Had a great afternoon on the river and hiking today with the family. Justin, our Guide was outstanding and really took his time throughout the day. Never felt rushed and he made us feel like the day was for us and let us take as much time as we wanted. He has a great knowledge of the island and took his time to point out different trees, plants, fruits etc throughout the day. He was also very personable and funny. Was a perfect fit for our family. They provided a great lunch and plenty of water for us. I would highly recommend Wailua Jungle River Kayak for anyone who is visiting Kauai and wants a fun adventure that is fit for the whole family!

We just returned from our honeymoon and when people ask us what the highlight was we say this tour. It was AWESOME. We were there during the wet season so it was very muddy but that almost made it more fun. Justin was absolutely great. Very laid back and knowledgeable and you can tell he just loves his job which made the whole day more fun. I would recommend the morning trip, if you live on the mainland you will be up early anyway and that way it’s very sunny when you make it to the waterfall.
The hike isn’t too strenuous but our arms were sore the next day. It feels good to get a work out in on vacation, especially one that doesn’t feel like a work out!
Bonus: they have an adorable Boxer at the check in named Cabo to greet you. =)
