A must stop!! I love this bathing suit shop. They have bathing suits for all kinds of bodies. Not just strings and nipple stickers! Lol i am very picky with my bathing suits and i hate going into surf shops and finding only thongs and tiny string tops. This place had more conservative options and also skimpy things if thats more of your style.
Had bought 2 bikinis from the Honolulu branch of this shop 10 years ago and they are still wearable (and good-looking) today. So had to make a pilgrimage back. As others mention: prices a bit high but if a suit lasts 10 years, totally worth it! Their prints and styles are cute, up to date, and they make a darling little miniskirt coverup in matching fabric. Staff delightful and knowledgeable and NOT high pressure

I live in San Diego where we have plenty of bathing suits to choose from year-around but I wait for my annual trip to Kauai to buy a suit from Sandy and her crew. The quality of the suits are excellent and I love how unique the patterns are. The individualized customer service is above and beyond. During my last visit in September Sandy went through her back stock at home to find a suit with a pattern that was a few years old and not in the store anymore. It was my favorite! To top it off I found this new top that was super flattering and Sandy pointed out how well it would go with a suit I bought from her the year before! These ladies know their stuff. A must stop if you are in Hanalei!!!

Love Pualani, love this shop! I always go to Pualani on Oahu, so I checked out this little shop in Hanalei when we were on Kauai - it's jam packed with suits, suits and more lively stuff! Three rooms full of cover ups and beautiful suits and hats and jewelry, and the lady was super sweet and helpful. A must go if your on Kauai!

Sandy was so great. My husband & I were in a big hurry to get to a wedding beach party. I
needed a bath suit pronto fast. Sandy & her helper showed us a book with pictures of all different styles and I knew what color I wanted. We were in and out in 15 minutes with a great fixing bathing suit She really knows her business, women's bodies & swim wear. I would definitely come back or shop with her on line. Denise

Pualani Hanalei is the sweetest little gem nestled right across the street from the picturesque Hanalei Elementary School with Mount Mamalahoa behind. This little shop is worth checking out. Owner, Sandy Shope greeted us at the door instantly making us feel like best friends sharing the latest bikinis to arrive and showing us the varieties in tops, bottoms, styles, and colors. Sexy, athletic, solid or patterned…they have it all. I not only scored 3 new insanely comfortable and stylish suits, I walked away with a huge smile on my face and a few free handmade hair ties. This sweet little shop is not only chock full of bathing suits in every style immaginable but there are bright striped turkish towels (my new favorites), hats, bags, jewelry, and beach attire. And for our adult and little mermaids there are even functioning mermaid tails. This shop is adorable and I will definitely be back for more. They are open 7 days a week from 10 am to 6 pm.
The selection is vast and the location easy to find (across for the elementary school). Owner Sandy is professional, knowledgeable and makes the entire shopping experience enjoyable.

This is the ONLY place I shop for beach and bikini wear in Kauai! Pualani Hanalei has the best selection of bathing suits on the island (believe me, I've gone to all of them!). I've gone back twice and haven't been disappointed yet. Sandy the owner knows her stuff too - knows how to fit a girl, if you know what I mean!
