Put on your running shoes Kauai because The Kauai Marathon is less than three weeks away. This is the fourth year for the Kauai Marathon and with every year the momentum and participation have brought some exciting exposure to the Garden Island. The Kauai Marathon is set amongst some of the most picturesque and beautiful landmarks on Kauai where backdrops of lush rainforest and dormant volcanoes capture Kauai’s diverse landscapes.

The course begins in Poipu and will lead runners along the scenic coastline of the sunny south side, through the Old Plantation Town of Koloa, and a gradual climb to the cool shade of the Tunnel of Trees. Those athletes participating in the full marathon will continue onto Lawai and to the top of Kalaheo where spectacular ocean views welcome runners to the gradual downhill run back to Poipu Beach and the finish line.
