With us, you do not share the aircraft. Your tour is private and your party of two or three will be the only passengers on board. At your choice, your tour can be flown with or without the doors on the helicopter. Tour Options

Mauna Loa Helicopters offers departures from 8:30 am to 4:30 Monday-Saturday.


55-60 minute Private Island Tour (for parties of 2 or 3): All of Kauai's stunning scenery explored in one breath-taking tour--with or without doors, at your choice! Guaranteed window seating. $259 plus tax per passenger (no fees or surcharges.)


Instructional Flight: Be a pilot for a day! With this tour of Kauai, you have the opportunity to fly our helicopter with the guidance of our certified professional flight instructors. Our pilots will first explain how the flight controls work during your helicopter tour. Afterwards, you will take the controls while you tour the island! This fun and exciting ride includes a brief ground lesson, and can be flown with or without doors on the helicopter.  $660 plus tax per hour. 1 hour minimum.


Photo Charter: Choose your own exotic location to photograph without the obstruction or glare of doors on the helicopter. Focus your tour on scenic highlights of special importance to you. Our pilots may also suggest the best Kauai sights to take stunning photos. $660 plus tax per hour. 1 hour minimum.
