Kauai Christian Academy was first established in the hearts and minds of several people who were interested in providing a quality education with strong biblical training to their children. The school opened its door in the fall of 1973 with one teacher and fifteen students.
Currently, Kauai Christian Academy is located on a ten-acre campus about one mile from the Kilauea Lighthouse. At the present time, there are two operating buildings which consist of eight classrooms, a library, a computer lab, five restrooms, and administrative offices. A school gym is nearing completion.
The mission and purpose of Kauai Christian Academy is to train students to be literate, capable and sensitive individuals who embrace the truth of God’s Word. All students are provided the opportunity to possess the skills, motivation, and discipline to achieve their full potential. KCA graduates are instructed to have the courage to act independently, grow spiritually, live ethically, and maintain productively enriched lives.
It is our mission to unite the home, school, and church to provide a Christ-centered foundation to prepare young people spiritually, socially, intellectually, emotionally, and physically to glorify God.
The administration and faculty at Kauai Christian Academy are dedicated to upholding an exceptional academic environment. The academic programs at Kauai Christian Academy offer opportunities for growth, enrichment, and creativity in a supportive atmosphere.
Kauai Christian Academy is a member of the Hawaii Association of Independent Schools (HAIS) and the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS).
