Despite what you may have read there is NO hike to the bottom of the falls.  Be safe and enjoy the view from the designated viewing areas.

Opaekaa Falls is found on the North side of Kuamoo Ridge.  This an easy stop provides a safe vista at the road side lookout for great photo opportunities. The falls are not accessible by hike or river. Enjoy the year round falls and the views of the Wailua River across the street. The best time for viewing the falls is early morning.
