Who are we
Tanya was born and raised on Kauai. Thor was born on a much larger island known as England. At the age of eight Thor moved to Kauai, and has called it home since. Living on Kauai is magical and we have been fortunate enough to have grown up here and now be raising our two young children in a place so special.
We share a love for travel and have spent spent many years traveling around the world and have not found any other place we would want to call home. Our love for adventure and exploration has taken us to many places including living in Hong Kong, running a surf camp in Central America, backpacking through Europe with toddlers, as well as several years aboard our 45 foot cruising trimaran in Mexico and the South Pacific. We will continue to build Kauai.com into a useful tool for Kauai visitors, as well as a place where local residents can find pertinent information and current events.
